Amadou Bagayoko, guitarist and singer of Malian duo Amadou et Mariam, dies at 70

The duo he formed with his wife gained recognition notably through their album Dimanche à Bamako (‘Sunday in Bamako’), which won a Victoire de la Musique in the World Music category in 2005.
